Two days full of giants, music, and good vibes
- Highlight: the Grand Giant Parade: The impressive giant procession departs at 20:30 from the church towards the Zeedijk and Market Square. A colourful parade with over fifty giants from Belgium and abroad, accompanied by brass bands and musical groups.
- Food and art market on Sunday: From 11:00 to 21:00 you can browse stalls full of local delicacies, art, and antiques.
- Children’s entertainment and folk games: Kids can enjoy face painting, stilt walkers, and traditional folk games – all close to the beach!
- Cultural heritage: Since 1986, Wenduine’s giants – Louw, Wanne, Scuteman, and Pol de Kruwer – bring folklore to life each year, recognised as intangible heritage by UNESCO.
- Free and accessible: The entire two-day celebration takes place in public spaces and is open to everyone.
A one-of-a-kind celebration where Flemish tradition, beach fun, and culinary delights come together. Visit Wenduine and be amazed by this warm, lively, and giant-sized experience!
