Halloween in De Haan 2026

On Saturday 31 October 2026, the Kippenvel Halloweentocht takes you through the streets and woods of De Haan. A spooky walk at your own pace, with a milder version for little ones and a scarier one for the brave.

What can you expect at the Kippenvel Halloweentocht?

• Spooky walk: Led by the mysterious Zwarte Madam, you walk at your own pace through the streets and woods of De Haan, on a new route starting from the Markt.
• MINI-BOE: From 4.30 pm, the milder walk where the monsters show their friendliest side.
• MAXI-BOE: From 6.00 to 8.30 pm, a lot scarier.
• Costumes: Do come in costume, so you blend in with the real monsters.

Practical information

The walk is free and starts from the Markt (Driftweg). It is organised by the youth department of the municipality of De Haan and has been a fixture for years. In neighbouring Wenduine, Wenduine griezelt takes place the same day, with a torch march and a Halloween funfair.
